"She's faced the hardest times you can imagine
And many times her eyes fought back the tears
And when her youthful world was about to fall in
Each time her slender shoulders
Bore the weight of all her fears
And a sorrow no one hears
Still rings in midnight silence
in her ears

Let her cry, for she's a lady
Let her dream, for she's a child
Let the rain fall down upon her
She's a free and gentle flower
growing wild..."

"WILDFLOWER will live long after all of us are gone--I don't know where my career would be today if I couldn't have hung my hat on that first hit.

Doug Edwards was one in a million--no instrument he couldn't play, no chord he couldn't access with ease, no musician he couldn't make immediately comfortable and sound better than they were, no musical situation around the globe that he didn't belong in--a true world class talent before we even knew what that meant.

To say that I admired him would be an understatement--to say that I always wanted to be as good a musician as him is completely true and was never accomplished."
